CDC Involvement in ELR

The CDC's Health Information and Surveillance Systems Board has created a web site with many documents on ELR at http://www.cdc.gov/od/hissb/docs.htm.

The primary report at this web site is Electronic Reporting of Laboratory Information for Public Health, a 41 page PDF document at http://www.cdc.gov/od/hissb/docs/elr-1999.pdf (the Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read PDF files).

The Public Health Conceptual Data Model is explained at http://www.cdc.gov/od/hissb/docs/PHCDM-toc.htm.
